Hi, I’m James Taylor — founder of JT Mind & Body Balance, former professional footballer, semi-professional footballer, coach and performance mentor.
Football has shaped my life from a young age. I started playing at 7, supported Bristol City FC from the age of 4, and went on to play professionally for the club I loved, sharing that dream with my Dad and Grandad.
Throughout my career, I worked with top sports scientists and nutritionists to push my physical performance to the highest level. But at 22, during a loan to Cheltenham FC, I suffered four knee dislocations in one season. I underwent double knee surgery and was told by specialists that I would never play football again.
I refused to accept that. With 1:1 support, discipline and relentless determination, I returned to playing at a semi-professional level — stronger in mind and body than ever before.
Now I use that experience to help players build the complete package: skill, athleticism, resilience, confidence and standards.

This policy ensures fairness, respects the booking schedule and protects the time reserved exclusively for you. If I, JT, cancel the session, a full refund will be given back to you.
